What Is Threading?
Threading is a centuries old technique that has been commonly practiced in India and the Middle East.
How does it work?
By using a piece of 100% cotton thread, hair can be removed from the most delicate areas of the face and can last up to six weeks. Depending upon the client's needs, hair can be removed individually or a few at a time.
How long does it last?
Threading on the brows and upper lip can lasts anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks. Facial hair on the sides can last from 4 to 8 weeks.
Why Threading ?
Threading does not peel off the top layer of the dermis. Being non-invasive, there is minimal trauma to the skin which decreases skin irritation and redness. Because the hair is pulled from the root, over time, the regrowth of hair will become slow and scant.
Unlike waxing, the hair does not need to be a certain length, the hair has to be only above the skin to get threaded.
Threading is the answer for those who are looking for a natural, hygenic and relatively painless technique for removal of unwanted facial hair.
